Frequently Asked Questions

Some frequently asked questions you might be wondering about, or ask me at some stage.

Do you offer private health fund rebates? Are you covered by Medicare?

At this point, health coaching and the other modalities that I offer are not covered by any private health fund nor Medicare. If the organisation you work for has a wellness allowance, then Health Coaching will most certainly be covered (but it’s best to check with your employer/ organisation beforehand).

Do you offer face-to-face consultations (in person)?

I predominantly consult via the Zoom online platform, or very rarely through phone (FaceTime or Skype) consultations. Face-to-face (in person) consultations can be organised on an exception and case-by-case basis. Note that clients who have worked with me through online consultations have found them to be as effective and also more convenient.

What is your cancellation policy?

If insufficient notice is given, there is a cancellation policy and charges will apply. I understand that urgent unforeseen circumstances do arise, however please do your best to notify me at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or postpone your appointment.

Will I get appointment confirmations upon booking online? Will I get appointment reminders?

Upon booking your appointment, you will receive an email confirmation with your appointment details. Email reminders will also be sent 48 hours prior to your next appointment.

What if I change my mind after purchasing a program/ package, and my sessions have not yet commenced, do you issue refunds?

Unless you have reasonable justification for this, I generally do not issue refunds as your pre-payment is a commitment from you (just like a prepaid mobile phone plan or gym membership).
In order to avoid this happening, please book a free 20-min discovery call first to understand my offerings. This is typically followed by an initial 60-min consultation & onboarding session where we can discuss which program or package is right for you if you haven’t already decided.

How do I contact you in between appointments? What type of support do you provide after (or in between) appointments?

My business hours are stated in the footer section below. If you have a query after our appointment in relation to the appointment, please email me (naiann@naiannlee.com) and I will respond to your query within 48 hours. If your email is received during out of office hours or when I am closed for business, please expect a delay in my response.

Can I book single (standalone) appointments?

The short programs/ packages are designed to be more cost-effective due to in-built discounts. They exist because it takes a certain number of sessions to achieve your goals of coaching or therapy, and for your results to integrate. An exception might be where you have completed a program or package, and need a few additional single top-up sessions, which will be discussed with you. As such, single (standalone) appointments are generally not offered, however the request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Do you have a results-guaranteed policy?

Coaching or therapy sessions (for all modalities) are very individualised and it is through your active participation (implementation of changes and skills learned) that will lead to meaningful and sustained outcomes and results for you. I am here to empower you with the tools to help get you there. As such, results cannot be guaranteed as it largely depends on you and your involvement.
I can guarantee, however, that you will certainly experience ‘shifts’ during each session, and you will take away lifelong learnings.
I invite you to learn more about me through booking your free 20 min strategy session.

What type of payments do you accept and what are your payment terms?

Methods of payment will be outlined on my invoice - it is via direct bank transfer at the moment. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice for initial consultations. For packages, pre-payment is due 24 hours before we commence the 1st session of your package.

What clinically-diagnosed mental health conditions do you not work with?

If you have been diagnosed with or suffer from Psychosis, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Sexual abuse trauma, Suicidal thoughts, Drug or alcohol addiction, Dissociative identity disorder (DID), Derealisation or Depersonalisation, I will refer you to other specialised mental health professionals who can help you as these are outside my scope of practice.
